Renaud Cona is a Principal vCISO at Kudelski Security, where he supports organisations with executive-level security leadership and helps teams build pragmatic, scalable cybersecurity programmes. He also leads the development of SOAR capabilities, focusing on operationalising response, improving consistency, and strengthening collaboration across SOC and incident response functions.

With 28 years of experience across large IT programmes and cybersecurity, Renaud brings deep expertise in governance, risk management, and compliance, translating frameworks and standards into measurable, business-relevant outcomes. His work spans security strategy and decision support for executives and boards, ISMS design and maturity improvement, crisis governance and escalation, and the design and integration of SOC, SIEM, and SOAR capabilities. He regularly advises clients across sectors including finance and professional services, combining structured governance with hands-on incident response and crisis management experience.
