James Phillips is a highly experienced cybersecurity consultant with over 20 years of expertise in protecting industrial and technology environments. He has worked with global organizations in industries like manufacturing and utilities to improve their security systems, helping to prevent and respond to cyber threats. James has also led teams investigating security incidents and analyzing digital evidence.
In addition to his technical accomplishments, James is a former full-time professor specializing in forensics and investigation, sharing his knowledge with the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. He holds multiple certifications, including Certified Cyber Forensic Professional (ISC2), EnCase Certified Forensic Analyst, and X-Ways Forensics Certified, among others.
James has presented at prominent conferences, such as the Incident Response Consortium in Pentagon City, USA, and Bsides Exeter at Exeter University. He is passionate about tackling emerging threats and has earned accolades for his investigative work, including recognition from the Toronto Police Service for dismantling a major crime ring.
